Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer

What is it?

Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer is a chemically crosslinked form of hyaluronic acid, engineered to resist breakdown and enhance the delivery and hydration performance of topical formulations compared with standard (non-crosslinked) hyaluronic acid.

What does it do?

Commonly used as a humectant and penetration enhancer in serums, including post-procedure skincare. A split-face RCT found a crosslinked HA serum improved skin quality/biomechanical attributes after fillers, microneedling or chemical peels, and a separate skin-explant study found crosslinked HA boosts topical delivery of other skincare actives.
