Known for
A marula-and-rooibos nourishing oil and a Kalahari melon seed moisturiser.
The SkinLabs Take
Terres d'Afrique's fair-trade sourcing story is a genuine point of difference in a category where 'ethical' is often just packaging copy — the brand is explicit about where its rarer botanicals, like Kalahari melon seed, are harvested. The nourishing oil and moisturiser both perform solidly for dry-to-normal skin, if without the disclosed-percentage actives that dominate the top of this file.
Why they made the list
Two reviewed products showcasing rarer African botanicals most other brands in this set don't use, with a genuine fair-trade sourcing story.
Currently 2 reviewed products — enough for our Ranked tier, but a smaller sample than our longer-reviewed brands.
